Arcules Introduces Forensic Video Search to Empower Rapid Event Identification

The AI-enabled enhancement is a critical tool to help businesses identify specific objects or events in seconds 

IRVINE, Calif., November 15, 2022 – Arcules, the leading provider of secure, scalable multi-site video management solutions-as-a-service, today announces the addition of Forensic Video Search to its open platform. Forensic search analyzes and identifies valuable data from video surveillance devices to provide users with unparalleled situational awareness and operational intelligence.

Forensic Video Search, built into the Arcules cloud-based video service,  is an AI-based tool that allows users to search recorded video based on a camera view, date/time, and specific objects of interest such as people or vehicles. Highly relevant search results appear as video thumbnails within seconds and can be further refined by color or a custom-drawn area of interest within the camera field of view. When an incident occurs, users can utilize the advanced feature to quickly collect video information of the event or objects of interest.

The cloud-based functionality is available on the more than 6,000 cameras supported on the open Arcules platform. Stakeholders can use Forensic Video Search immediately, without the need to upgrade cameras or install GPU cards.
