At Arcules, providing full end-to-end security for our customers’ sensitive video data is our top priority. Cloud-based video surveillance services can be compromised at each stage of the data journey, and these risks must be mitigated to ensure system reliability, data integrity and peace of mind.

Arcules is proud to announce we have joined the EU Cloud Code of Conduct to affirm our commitment to protecting video data in the cloud.

Cloud computing offers significant benefits to both the private and public sector, but cloud customers must be able to trust a cloud service provider (CSP) before they hand over their data to them. The EU Cloud Code of Conduct (COC) was created in part to increase transparency for cloud customers and to allow CSPs to voluntarily demonstrate their adherence to data protection rules. Drafted together with the authorities of the European Union and developed by the Cloud Select Industry Group, the code confirms member CSPs are thoroughly prepared for new security regulations.

As a partner, Arcules pledges to enforce comprehensive data protection safeguards and to reassure end customers their confidential data is processed in accordance with standards. To strengthen video data security further, Arcules is adopting predictive and preventive security measures, beyond reactive ones.

Arcules will wp-contently continuous monitoring to processes like the auditing and logging of data, as well as proactively identify suspicious patterns before systems are compromised. End-to-end security for video data protects the entire data flow, from the time video is captured by a camera to when it is presented in compressed files to the final end user. Under the EU Cloud COC, Arcules will remain compliant with global best practices and the highest standards when it comes to securing video data in the cloud.

The decision to join the EU Cloud COC demonstrates Arcules’ commitment to strengthening regulations for data privacy. Arcules looks forward to collaborating with other member service providers to support the European standardized wp-contentlication of global data protection rules.
