There’s a joke somewhere in here about the cloud coming to the Windy City and “taking it by storm,” but in all seriousness, Arcules is set to ascend on Chicago Sept. 9-12, for the annual Global Security Exchange (GSX) by ASIS International at McCormick Place.
The event, which attracts security professionals from a variety of markets across the globe, is geared towards education: continuing education for practitioners, learning about emerging trends and innovative technology, and the quest to identify some of the new ways that manufacturers are helping organizations protect people and assets.
During the show at booth #1733, Arcules will highlight its full suite of services aimed at providing small- to medium-sized businesses (SMBs) with the tools needed to transform their security posture across dispersed facilities. The Arcules service bundle, which includes VSaaS and ACaaS, provides built-in video analytics, advanced video management of video surveillance data, and access control information in one unified solution. It eliminates the need to configure multiple pieces of software to manage VMS and access control users and cardholders.
Arcules will also participate in an educational panel, “How IoT, the Cloud, and AI Deliver Business Intelligence,” from 2 to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10, in Room S504 BC. Arcules CEO Andreas Pettersson will be joined by Ray Bernard, President and Principal Consultant at Ray Bernard Consulting Services, and Aaron Heiner, Co-founder and President at Stone Security. The panel will be moderated by Security Systems News Editor Paul Ragusa.
The discussion will center around the use of emerging technology to optimize businesses and identify new business strategies. Panelists will weigh in on how cloud technology can contribute to the success of these organizations and how it works on a basic level. They will also explore the rise of artificial intelligence and increased connectivity through the IoT and how these features can be combined with video data to develop business insights. Attendees will be encouraged to participate throughout the discussion by offering thoughts and asking questions.
