Device Analytics for Axis
Love Arcules analytics in the cloud but short on bandwidth?
If you have Axis cameras on your edge gateways, you now have the best of both worlds. Through the use of ONVIF profile M, Axis cameras supporting Axis Object Analytics are now enhanced with the ability to use forensic search, widgets, and see people and vehicle detections on the Arcules video playback timelines. It’s another level of deep support for Axis analytics.
This new feature elevates the power of your edge gateway, providing you with added detection capabilities and enhanced forensic search intelligence even in low bandwidth situations.
What can you do with device analytics?
- Detect people and vehicles
- Show results in Forensic Search
- Trigger rules including alarms and notifications
- Show object detections on the playback timeline
- Display widgets for people count, parked vehicle count, and people heat map
- Use Axis Object Analytics Scenarios for event analytics (Line crossing, loitering detection, etc)

Dark Mode
Easily change your Arcules theme display settings
Our first new theme is Dark Mode! Having a dark mode option works great for low light surveillance offices and SOCs. It can also help users better focus on screen information and some people just prefer the darker theme option. By default dark mode will respond to a user’s setting in their OS, or they can set it directly within the Arcules platform. The great part – the choice is yours!
Web & Mobile Client Rebrand
New fonts and a cool color palette
A more subtle change to our product look is the rebranding of our mobile and web clients. In 2023, Arcules went through a rebranding effort which you can see on our website, logo, collateral and signage. To align with our new corporate look, our cloud-VMS has been updated with new colors, new logos and new fonts to match. These subtle yet impactful changes are designed to make your time on our platform more enjoyable and visually engaging. Dive in today and see the difference!
Enhanced 2-Way Audio
Record audio all the time, or only when it’s relevant
Our 2-way audio for AXIS audio devices and cameras with built in audio capabilities, allows users to listen to live audio, record audio to be played back with video and save audio to case files as evidence. Now users have a choice to record audio all the time, only during certain hours or in conjunction with triggered video recording. The new feature, one of many recent audio enhancements, eliminates unneeded audio data and allows you to optimize your resources and only record what is relevant. Choose when to record by date and time and when used with live pushed audio, users can use 2-way audio for proactive security response, facilitate safety procedures or enhance business operations.
Genea-Arcules Mobile Video
Enjoy the integrated power of two innovative cloud companies.
Last year we announced our partnership with Genea to offer businesses a way to manage access to facilities, validate activities with video data, and swiftly react to protect company assets and employees. This comprehensive solution encompasses real-time monitoring through video feeds, camera mapping of door locations, cloud-based video playback, and a camera wall feature. We continue to expand our integration including the recent addition of video playback on the Genea mobile app. Now you can monitor and react to access events with video from the palm of your hand.
Easy User Provisioning
Easily manage IDP user provisioning.
Cloud customers look to centrally monitor and manage their resources, this includes user identity information. We’ve spent these last few months implementing workflow continuity for Customers already handling user provisioning with an IDP. With the use of SCIM, companies can now easily migrate and manage users’ access and permissions information between their IDP (currently Microsoft Entra ID) and the Arcules cloud VMS.
